I started keeping this after a wet week in the Carpathians when I realised I could not remember which pass had the tunnel and which one had the dogs. Now every ride over two hundred kilometres gets a page, written the evening after, before the details soften.

A dynamo hub is a wonderful thing right up until the moment you stop moving in a tunnel.
It held. I would not recommend finding out whether yours will.
